A fully functional outdoor kitchen built for Utah living

This Millcreek homeowner wanted a true outdoor kitchen — not just a grill on a patio, but a fully functional cooking and entertaining space that could stand up to Utah seasons. Black Diamond designed and built a custom kitchen island using Belgard Artforms concrete panels, topped with a polished quartz countertop and finished with a hand-selected Moroccan cement tile backsplash.

The kitchen features an Elements professional built-in grill with a stainless hood, a full-size farmhouse sink with a gooseneck faucet, and a built-in beverage refrigerator — everything needed to cook, prep, and entertain without going back inside.

The Belgard Artforms panel system gives the kitchen base a refined, architectural look while providing the structural durability required for an outdoor installation in Utah's climate. The decorative tile backsplash adds a custom, boutique-hotel quality that sets this kitchen apart.

The kitchen sits under a custom pergola with a cedar tongue-and-groove ceiling and recessed can lighting, creating a covered outdoor room that's usable from spring through fall. The Belgard paver patio and Artforms decorative screen walls complete the space, providing privacy and a cohesive design language throughout the backyard.
