Landscape Construction project — Black Diamond Landscape & Outdoor Living

Landscape Construction

Black Diamond manages landscape construction projects from initial site preparation through planting, irrigation, lighting, and final inspection. Our crews handle grading, drainage, hardscape installation, planting, and irrigation as a single coordinated scope — reducing scheduling gaps and ensuring the finished landscape performs as designed.

What landscape construction includes

Demolition and site preparation

Removal of existing hardscapes, vegetation, and debris. Grading and rough drainage work precede all other construction phases.

Grading and drainage

Precise grading directs water away from structures and into designed drainage paths. We install French drains, catch basins, and channel drains where site conditions require.

Hardscape installation

Paver patios, walkways, concrete flatwork, retaining walls, and outdoor structures are installed with proper base preparation for Utah's freeze-thaw climate.

Irrigation installation

Sprinkler systems, drip irrigation, and hydrozoning are installed during construction — before final grading and planting — for clean, efficient results.

Planting and soil preparation

Soil amendment, tree and shrub installation, sod or seeding, and mulching are coordinated with irrigation and lighting to complete the landscape.

Landscape lighting

Low-voltage lighting systems are installed during construction, with conduit and wire runs placed before final grading for a clean finished appearance.

Coordinated field execution

Black Diamond coordinates site preparation, concrete, retaining systems, turf, planting, materials, access, and field sequencing throughout construction.

Site preparation and construction sequencing

Complex outdoor projects require careful coordination of site access, demolition, flatwork, walls, utilities, specialty features, materials, and crew sequencing.
